<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell equipped with an electrolyte membrane which can prevent breakage due to an occurrence of stress. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 100 is provided with a solid polymer electrolyte layer 30 which contains at least two of solid polymer electrolyte membranes 31a, 31b. Two of the solid polymer electrolyte membranes 31a, 31b are bonded with a bonding member 32 having an insulating property. An elongation amount of the bonding member 32 in a contraction direction of the solid polymer electrolyte membranes 31a, 31b is the same or higher than a total of the contraction variation amounts of two of the solid polymer electrolyte membranes 31a, 31b when a water content falls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
