<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of communication lines of not only electric equipment mounted later but also existing electric equipment 30 and drastically reduce wiring quantity, in an on-vehicle power line communication system in which power lines 40, 45 for carrying electric power to be supplied to each electric equipment 30 installed in a vehicle are used for communications between the electric equipment 30, 30 with communication functions. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of PLC units 20, 20, ... connected to the at least one electric equipment 30, respectively are provided, and the PLC units 20, 20 are connected with each other by the power lines 40, 45. Electric power to be supplied to the each electric equipment 30 is carried via the electric power lines 40, 45.
