<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shifting mechanism for a stepped automatic transmission capable of achieving a large speed reduction ratio by a high setting free degree of the speed reduction ratio in the advance first speed of the lowermost stage. <P>SOLUTION: In a shifting control means, a different diameter long pinion PL is provided as a pinion common for two sets of a double pinion type first planetary gear set PG1 and a second planetary gear set PG2, a two-degree-of-freedom system is constituted wherein two rotation elements of five rotation elements, a first link gear R1, a second sun gear S2, a second ring gear R2 and a common carrier C, are restricted, and a rotating speed relationship is determined, and a first clutch K1 interposed between a first sun gear S1 and an input shaft IN and a first brake B1 interposed between the second sun gear S2 and a case TC are provided as friction elements. In the advance first speed, the first clutch K1 and the first brake B1 are engaged, and a rotation driving force inputted from the input shaft IN is decreased and outputted from the second ring gear R2 to an output shaft OUT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
