PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicular generator that makes the speed of a rotor body follow that of a belt by reducing the inertia of the rotor body at the time of momentary speed drop of the belt and is capable of suppressing the occurrence of the slip of the belt against a pulley without using a clutch pulley. SOLUTION: A pole core 3 has first and second pole core members 10, 14 and third and fourth pole core members 18, 19. The first and second pole core members 10, 14 are fixed on a shaft 4. Furthermore, the third and fourth pole core members 18, 19 are supported by the shaft 4 via a radial bearing 20 securing air gaps d2 to the end surfaces of the first and second pole core members 10, 14 at both sides in the axial direction of the first and second pole core members 10, 14.
