PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor transistor element in which an organic semiconductor is flat, has high operation speed and can be easily manufactured, and a manufacturing method thereof, and to provide a semiconductor device employing the organic semiconductor transistor element and a display element. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor transistor element includes at least a source electrode, a drain electrode, an organic semiconductor provided so as have conduction to the source and drain electrodes, and a gate electrode insulated from the organic semiconductor and capable of applying an electric field. The organic semiconductor contains at least one kind selected from among compounds expressed by a formula (I) (wherein, R1-R8each independently denote H, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group).
