PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an attaching position for an egg case gets high, difficult take out when used by a user of low height, because the attaching position for the egg case is provided in a cold storage chamber door in a conventional refrigerator and because its height is in about 150 cm of position, and the problem wherein use convenience gets worse because a height of a slide chamber is required to be made low in the case of not changing a capacity of a cold storage chamber, when the egg case is arranged in an upper part or a lower part of the slide chamber used frequently as a child chamber. SOLUTION: This refrigerator with the cold storage chamber arranged in the uppermost part out of a plurality of storage chambers, is provided with: an independent temperature control chamber provided in a lower part of the cold storage chamber, and temperature-controlled independently of the cold storage chamber in a temperature zone equivalent or less to a temperature zone of the cold storage chamber; and a small-article case stored slidably along a back and forth direction in a space provided in a sideface of the independent temperature control chamber via a partitioning plate in the cold storage chamber and for storing small-sized foods.
