PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a wall surface capable of forming a uniform water passing face by reduced amount of feed water to prevent it from being scattered by wind and achieving excellent evaporation efficiency by reducing speed of the sprayed water flowing down on the surface. SOLUTION: This cooling structure of the wall surface is constituted by arranging a plurality of cooling units 2 constituted by arranging a water flowing layer 21 composed of a fibrous material twined composite body on an outer face of a unit main body 20 having optional cross section, stacking a moisture permeable sheet 22 on an outer face side of the water flowing layer 21, and arranging an exterior plate 23 forming many holes opened on its outer face side along the wall surface or the roof surface and providing a water feeding part 3 and a water receiving part 4 in an upper part and a lower part of the cooling unit 2, respectively, to feed the water supplied into the water feeding part 3 into the water flowing layer 21 of the cooling unit 2, promote evaporation of the water while it flows down in the water flowing layer 21, and reduce temperature of the outer periphery.
