<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of improving particularizing accuracy by considering a method of specifying a flow wherein Y sets or over of packets are consecutively (without timeout) sampled as an enhanced ST method. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter design apparatus 101 designs a timeout time and a sampling period which realize a particular curve for satisfying a threshold value of a particular flow rate and a particularizing probability of the threshold value of the particular flow rate, a packet sampling apparatus 102 samples packets flowing through a target link for a predetermined period during a measuring period and updates contents of a flow table 104 for registering flows on the basis of sampling information, a flow information erasure apparatus 103 erases the flow information whose timeout time elapses from the flow table 104, and a high rate flow specifying apparatus 105 specifies a high rate flow from the flows registered in the flow table 104 and outputs the high rate flow to a high rate flow list 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
