PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fragments of substrates from intruding to the under surfaces of the substrates and damaging the substrates or to prevent individual liquid crystal display elements from dispersing and intruding under other individual liquid crystal display elements and giving rise to cracking in a process step of dividing the liquid crystal display elements to the individual liquid crystal display elements by using a breaker in manufacturing the liquid crystal display elements by using mass-produced fluid substrates. SOLUTION: The method of forming a plurality of the liquid crystal display elements to the mass produced substrates, then dividing the liquid crystal display elements to the individual liquid crystal display elements has at least a process step of attaching a film to the first substrate side and scribing the second substrate side into cubes, a process step of attaching a film to the scribed second substrate and peeling the film attached to the first substrate, a process step of breaking the second substrate into cubes, a process step of scribing the first substrate side into cubes, a process step of attaching the film to the scribed first substrate and peeling the film attached to the second substrate and breaking the first substrate into cubes. |
