<p>A rotating electric machine having an edgewise coil using a rectangular wire is efficiently cooled. The edgewise coil is formed by winding the rectangular wire around a tooth (12018). In order that the rectangular wire is wound around a rectangular tooth (12018), a support part (12013) for determining the relative position of the edgewise coil with respect to the tooth (12018) is provided. A cooling liquid is passed through a cooling water passage (12012) defined between the edgewise coil which is formed of a rectangular wire and the position of which is determined by the support part (12013) and the tooth.</p> |
