PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly multifunction I/O device with higher security. SOLUTION: A digital copying machine 1 includes a CPU 2, a memory unit 3 consisting of a ROM or a RAM, a FAX control section 4, a LAN control section 5, an I/O device control unit 6, a storage device control unit 7, an image processing control unit 8, and an input control unit 12. The digital copying machine 1 further includes a storage device 9 consisting of a built-in hard disk drive (hereinafter referred to as HDD) connected with the storage device control unit 7, a print control unit 10 connected with the image processing control unit 8, an image reading control unit 11, and a display control unit 13.
