PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor whose maintenance such as check or lubrication of lateral transmission gears or longitudinal transmission gears can be performed by a user and which can efficiently transmit motor power to an inner blade by renewing the longitudinal transmission gears when an inner blade unit is replaced. SOLUTION: The inner blade unit is composed of an inner blade frame 32 which is attached to and detached from a head case 10, the inner blade 23a which is supported by the inner blade frame 32 and the like. A transmission construction of the inner blade 23a is composed of the lateral transmission gears 46 and the longitudinal transmission gears 47. Gears G6-G8 constituting the longitudinal transmission gears 47 are incorporated in a side frame 34 of the inner blame frame 32 so that the longitudinal transmission gears 47 can be renewed simultaneously with replacement of the inner blade unit.
