PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mono-block type lead acid storage battery which can prevent corrosion of a resistance welding section. SOLUTION: The resistance welding section 14 is formed by resistance welding with a positive electrode pole 10 and a negative electrode pole 7 of the group of pole plates in a pressure contact state by inserting a plurality of groups of pole plates in a battery case divided by a battery case partition wall 4 having a hole. In this case, the hole is provided at the upper protruded part of the battery case partition wall 4, and the surrounding portion of the resistance welding section 14 is embedded in a recessed part formed in a lid 21 by an epoxy system adhesive 23 and sealed.
