PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice-washing apparatus in which there is no fear that a rice during conveying is damaged or remained by clogging of the rice between a feeding impeller and a drum, a large amount of water is not required for washing the rice, the rice after rice-washing is finished does not absorb contaminant again, the drum and the feeding impeller can be easily disassembled, and cleaning can be easily performed. SOLUTION: The rice-washing apparatus is provided, which comprises a rotation drum constituted by a semi-cylindrical first drum half body provided with a plurality of feeding impellers and a semi-cylindrical second drum half body provided with a plurality of feeding impellers such that it becomes an approximately helical shape while making a pair with the feeding impeller of the first drum half body, having one end provided with a throwing port and the other end provided with a discharge port, installed such that it becomes an upslope from the throwing port to the discharge port, and provided with a water-permissible side wall, a main washing pipe penetrated/arranged in a pipe space provided by notching the feeding impeller at a rotation shaft area of the rotation drum, and a water-immersion tank for immersing the rotation drum such that a water surface is not applied to at least the pipe space closest to the throwing port.
