<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink for inkjet recording, being excellent in image clarity and print density, its production method, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: [1] The water-based ink for inkjet recording contains water-insoluble polymer particles containing a colorant, the polymer particles having an average particle diameter of 20-67 nm, a free polymer content of 0.40 wt.% or lower, and a pigment content of 2 wt.% or higher. [2] The production method of the water-based ink comprises subjecting a mixture containing a water-insoluble polymer, an organic solvent, a pigment, and water to a dispersion treatment, subjecting a water dispersion element obtained by eliminating the organic solvent to centrifugal separation, and redispersing the precipitate in a water type medium. [3] The inkjet recording method causes the discharge of the water-based ink in an amount of duty of 20% or lower or in an amount of 1×10<SP>-1</SP>mg or lower per 1 cm<SP>2</SP>of a printing paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
