<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can make compatible both a resolution of a light quantity and a dynamic range. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device comprises a first control circuit for controlling the light quantity of a semiconductor laser according to a first light quantity setting value corresponding to a first light quantity resolution, a second control circuit for controlling the light quantity of the semiconductor laser according to a second quantity setting value corresponding to a second light quantity resolution smaller than the first light quantity resolution, and a driving circuit for driving the semiconductor laser according to the first and second control circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
