<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex pipe fitting disabling loosening of a connection using a versatile fastening tool after the pipe connection is completed, and to provided a specialized tool for releasing the threaded portion in the pipe fitting and a refrigeration system and an air conditioner using the pipe fitting. <P>SOLUTION: In the duplex pipe fitting, when a coupling member 2 is screwed to a fitting main body 1, two pipes P are connected with each other through the fitting main body 1. Each coupling member 2 has a grasping portion 24 equipped with a grasping surface on the external surface consisting of one or a plurality of pairs of planes facing each other so that each coupling member 2 can be grasped by a general purpose fastening tool. When rotary torque for fastening the coupling member 2 to the fitting main body 1 reaches a value indicating the end of the fastening, at least a part of the grasping portion 24 including the grasping surface is divided and fastening of the coupling member 2 is ended, thereby completing connection of pipes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
