摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve uniformity in temperature distribution in a membrane-electrode assembly in a fuel cell provided with the membrane-electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 100 includes: a membrane-electrode assembly 10; and a collector member 30 with a cooling water path 32 formed inside for having cooling water flow which cools the membrane-electrode assembly 10. In addition, the membrane-electrode assembly 10 approximately faces the cooling water path 32 with part of the collector member 30 in-between and contains a first region which is easily cooled by the cooling water and a second region which is a region that is other than the first region and which is not as easily cooled as the first region. Furthermore, the supported catalyst amount for an anode-side catalyst layer 14a1, 14a3 and for the cathode-side catalyst layers 14c1 and 14c3 arranged in the second region is set to be smaller than the supported catalyst amount for the anode-side catalyst layer 14a2 and the cathode-side catalyst layer 14c2 arranged in the first region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
