PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink container excellent in the preservation stability of an ink composition which is excellent in the curability and flexibility of an picture acquired, an ink cartridge, an ink-jet recording method using the ink composition, and printed matter.

SOLUTION: The ink container holds the ink composition containing (A) N-vinyl lactams and be made of oxygen permeating material. It is desirable that the (A) N-vinyl lactams is a N-vinyl caprolactam.
