<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device suitable for realizing a 4-value PPM method using a light-emitting medium consisting of a widely-used discharge lamp such as a fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device comprises a direct current power source 13a, an inverter circuit 13b1 to convert the DC voltage into an AC voltage, a load circuit 13b2 connected to an AC output end of the inverter circuit, a fluorescent lamp 14 connected to the load circuit to be biased and lit by an AC output of the inverter circuit, and a control means 12 to carry out on-off control of a driving signal of a switching element of the inverter circuit for every pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
