An axis center cooling device of a machine tool is provided to reduce the cost for the axis center cooling performance and the operation steps. An axis center cooling device of a machine tool comprises: a hollow unit(11) formed in the inside along the axis core direction; a coupling(20) detachably combined one of the both end parts(10a,10b) of a ball screw; and a servo motor(40) mounted on the end part of the ball screw. An axis cooling hole(20a) connected with hollow unit is formed inside the coupling. The cooling water for cooling the axis circulates through the axis cooling hole. The servo motor rotates the ball screw to the forward direction and the reversed direction. The coupling is detachably connected the end part of the ball screw after the servo motor is disassembled.
