PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a front-stop portion with a shape projecting in a cantilevered manner, for inhibiting breakage of the front-stop portion owing to a pushing force from behind. SOLUTION: A rear surface 14R of a front-stop portion 14 has a shape in which a center portion in a width direction perpendicular to both directions of an insertion direction of a terminal fitting 20 and a projection direction of the front-stop portion 14 projects backward from both side portions in the width direction. Both end portions in a width direction of the rear surface 14R of the front-stop portion 14 are joined to an outside surface 14S of the front-stop portion 14 in an obtuse angle, and the rear surface 14R of the front-stop portion 14 and an inner wall surface 12S of a protection wall 12 are joined through an arc shaped surface 16.
