PURPOSE: A development device of XML based middleware for an intelligent electronic device Identification and control are provided to develop an XML based middleware that transfers the information of a recognized intelligent power device to a user interface. CONSTITUTION: A DPGW(Device Portal GateWay) obtains the information of power devices, and transmits the obtained information to an XML based middleware. The DPGW transmits product information to the XML based middle ware, and the XML based middleware converts the transmitted information into XML type information. The converted information is displayed in power device user interface through an XML protocol. The user is able to recognize the kinds of power device expressed in the user interface.
