发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CORDIERITE-BASED CERAMIC HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve moldability, enable mass production, and thin the partition of a ceramic honeycomb structure by adding a constant amount of a polyimine- based dispersant to a cordierite-reacting raw material batch for extrusion molding. SOLUTION: The polyimine-based dispersant is added in an amount of 0.5-10 wt.%. Thereby, the dispersant can produce a strong cationic electric charge in a body prepared by adding water to a cordierite-reacting raw material batch, adsorb negatively charged particles and positively charge the surfaces of all powder, therefore capable of preventing the heterogeneous coagulation of the powder. Thereby, even when a powdery material having an isoelectric point of >=8, such as aluminum hydroxide, is contained in the raw material batch, the flowability of the body can be improved, and a honeycomb structure having thin walls in a level of 80 μm can be smoothly excluded. The polyimine-based dispersant preferably has an average mol.wt. of >=1,000.
