The radiator (14) has a flow rate modification unit comprising a solenoid valve (26) and a decentralized circulator (24) e.g. decentralized pump, to change a flow rate of fluid supplied to the radiator. A presence sensor (28) detects the presence of an individual in a room. An electronic control unit controls the flow rate modification unit according to the detection of individual by the presence sensor. An ambient temperature sensor (36) determines an ambient temperature, and the modification unit is controlled such that the ambient temperature corresponds to a set point temperature. The presence sensor is chosen from a movement sensor, a light sensor, and/or a camera. An independent claim is also included for a central heating installation. |
