PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient processing when pre-purge processing due to paper jam and image formation correction processing are overlapped with each other.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises an image formation part which performs printing on transfer media on the basis of image data, a conveyance part which conveys the transfer media and a control part which controls printing and conveyance. The control part includes a function of image formation correction processing performing correction of the image formation part upon receiving a reading result of an image printed on the transfer medium, and a pre-purge processing function performing control for discharging an effective transfer medium in a conveyance path on the downstream side with respect to the paper jam occurrence spot and discharging a transfer medium in the conveyance path on the upstream side with respect to the paper jam occurrence spot when paper jam occurs in conveyance of the transfer media, and performs control for performing pre-purge processing and continuing the image formation correction processing when paper jam occurs and the transfer media being conveyed includes a transfer medium for correction to be used in image formation correction processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 |
