PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of restricting a substantial temperature variation of a power element generated when defrosting control is carried out for performing temporarily a cooling operation when a heating operation is being performed at a refrigerant circuit.SOLUTION: A control device comprises a refrigerant circuit control part and a power element control part. The refrigerant circuit control part performs defrost control for temporarily performing a cooling operation when a surrounding temperature around a heat exchanger becomes a prescribed temperature or lower during a heating operation at a refrigerant circuit for cooling the power element constituting an inverter circuit for controlling a compressor motor. The power element control part performs control for making a loss of the power element larger than that during the heating operation while the refrigerant circuit control part is performing the defrost control .SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
