SOLUTION: A controller for a hybrid vehicle includes a storing region judgment means (step S402, S405, and S409) for judging a battery remaining amount (SOC) into zones, such as a normally use regional zone A, a provisional use regional zone B, an over-discharge regional zone C, and an over-charge regional zone D, a generation mode setting means (step S403, S406, S410, and S411) for setting a normal generation mode (step S410) according to the zone A, a weak generation mode (step S411) according to the zone B, a strong generation mode (step S406) according to the zone C, and a generation stop mode (step S403) according to the zone D on the basis of the judged result of the storing region judgment means, and a generation amount determination means (step S414) for determining the generation amount. |
