PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer material from being wound around an image carrier regardlessly of ambient temp. and humidity in a device, and to eliminate the influence on the image area to be transferred on the transfer material. SOLUTION: The temp. and humidity in the device main body 2 is respectively measured by a temp./humidity measuring device 40, and the measured temp./ humidity ambient information is inputted to a controller 41. The controller 41 prevents the transfer material P from being wound around the intermediate transfer drum 9, and eliminates the inference on the image area transferred on the transfer material P regardlessly of the temp./humidity ambient in the device 2 by changing the applying timing of the secondary voltage on the transfer material P based on the temp./humidity information inputted from the temp./ humidity measuring device 40, or changing the transport timing of the transfer material P to the secondary transfer part T2 based on the temp. humidity information inputted from the temp./humidity measuring device 40. |
