PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device that even if a supporting body for supporting a display panel is broken by an impact, can restore the panel supporting part to a standing-up posture.SOLUTION: When an impact is applied to a supporting body 10 supporting a display panel 20, the supporting body 10 is broken by breaking surfaces 14a and 14b of a preferentially breaking part. To the supporting body 10 is fixed a connection metal plate 20. A second fixing mechanism 40 which fixes a second fixing piece 22 of the connection metal plate 20 to the panel supporting part 11 is a slide mechanism. The panel supporting part 11, when receiving force in a (ii) direction, slides in the (ii) direction relative to the second fixing piece 22 so that the connection metal plate 20 is prevented from being cut off. Thereafter, by elastic force of the connection metal plate 20, the panel supporting part 11 is restored to a standing-up posture so that a cutting surface 14b is prevented from being pointed to an occupant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
