Disclosed are a method for transmitting a paging in a wireless communication system and a device therefor. Specifically, a method for transmitting a paging by a mobility management entity (MME) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a downlink data notification message from a serving gateway (S-GW); and transmitting a paging message including a paging count and a coverage enhancement level (CE level) value to an eNB when the downlink data notification message has been received from the S-GW, wherein the CE level value may be a CE level which a terminal has received from an eNB connected last by the terminal.
