The first eNB is configured to wirelessly communicate on a resource with the second eNB. The resource includes a time resource and/or a frequency resource. The first and second eNBs are configured to cooperatively serve the one or more UEs. The first and second eNBs are configured to engage in wireless communication following a predetermined schedule known to the plurality of eNBs. |

1. A communication system comprising:
a plurality of eNodeBs (eNBs) configured to serve one or more user equipments (UEs), the plurality of eNBs including a first eNB and a second eNB; the first eNB configured to wirelessly communicate on a resource with the second eNB, the resource comprising at least one of a time resource or a frequency resource; the first eNB and the second eNB configured to cooperatively serve the one or more UEs; and the first eNB and the second eNB configured to engage in wireless communication following a predetermined schedule known to the plurality of eNBs, wherein the resource comprises at least one of: one or more repeating frames or one or more repeating superframes, wherein each frame comprises one or more subframes, the one or more subframes comprising contiguous or non-contiguous slots, wherein the one or more repeating superframes have a lower frequency than the one or more repeating frames, and wherein the predetermined schedule comprises recurring time intervals in every frame or every subframe. |
