Provided are a positive electrode catalyst which is capable of reducing reaction overpotential at a positive electrode, and a device capable of the same. A positive electrode catalyst of the present invention comprises a layered metal oxide. Moreover, a device of the present invention comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the positive electrode is formed using a positive electrode catalyst comprising a layered metal oxide. The layered metal oxide is preferably a Ruddlesden-Popper type layered perovskite. |
