PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically calculate and provide a proper carrier gas flow rate for an operator.SOLUTION: A gas chromatograph comprises: a column 4 which separates a sample; a detector 16 which introduces a carrier gas including a sample component separated by the column 4 and only the carrier gas into a detection part 17 alternately by changing an inflow place of the carrier gas so as to acquire a signal; an analytic information input part 23 for inputting analytic information; a data holding part which holds data showing previously found relation between a column flow rate and a carrier gas flow rate; and a calculation part which calculates a column flow rate based upon the analytic information input from the analytic information input part 23, and also calculates a carrier gas flow rate corresponding to the calculated column flow rate using the calculated column flow rate and the data that the data holding part holds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
