At least one elongated device (11) running from at least one end (9) of the outer casing (3) and through essentially the entire cavity (4) is used to inject material whilst at the same time being steadily removed from the cavity. A method for preparing an elongated, sleeve-shaped, essentially cylindrical body, especially a connection for a high voltage cable, with at least one layer of material, comprises forming a cavity corresponding to the cylindrical body in between an elongated, essentially cylindrical outer casing and an elongated inner core (2). At least one elongated injection device runs from at least one end of the outer casing and through essentially the entire cavity. Material is injected at the same time as the injection device is steadily removed from the cavity. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus used to carry out this method. |
