PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel magnetic material combining the magnetic permeability and volume resistivity at a high level, for responding to the request of compaction and high performance in an electronic component.SOLUTION: A magnetic material 1 includes soft magnetic alloy particles 11 containing Fe, M (where, M is a metallic element more susceptible to oxidation than Fe) and S, and an oxide film 12 formed by partial oxidation of the soft magnetic alloy particles 11. Adjoining soft magnetic alloy particles 11 are bonded via the oxide film 12 at least partially, and the magnetic material 1 contains 92.5-96 wt.% of Fe and 0.003-0.02 wt.% of S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
