EXPRESSION SYSTEM FOR PSICOSE EPIMERASE AND PRODUCTION FOR PSICOSE USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a gene expression system enabling the production of psicose epimerase in a high stability and expression rate. The present invention further relates to a transgenic generally recognized as safe (GRAS) microbe using the same, and to a method for producing psicose using an enzyme obtained from the transgenic GRAS microbe or a transgenic microbe. To this end, a gene expression cassette includes: a nucleotide sequence encoding the psicose epimerase; and a regulatory sequence operably connected to an upstream thereof and regulating the expression of the psicose epimerase in a strain of genus Corynebacterium.
