PURPOSE:To make a residual capacity condition, in structure in which direct specific gravity measuring from an electrolyte is impossible, easily readable with battery voltage as information, and also display the residual capacity condition by using the information as this invention is concerned with the improvement of a negative electrode absorption system sealing type lead acid battery. CONSTITUTION:In a sealed type lead acid battery, a dilute sulfuric acid density of an electrolyte in a battery inside complete state is made 1.30 or more at specific gravity conversion, a ratio of the chemical equivalent of a sulfuric acid quantity, in dilute sulfuric acid in a battery, to the chemical equivalent of an active material filling logical quantity of a plate, in a side having positive or negative less capacity, is composed to at least 1.2 or less, and a method for detecting the degree of a residual capacity condition with voltage as an information source, and a display device for displaying the residual capacity condition based on the voltage information, are provided. This can display the residual capacity condition which is visually judged easily from outside. |
