A plant receptacle 1 for hydroponics has a container 2 of a water level gauge loosely inserted into it, the container extending up to the upper edge of the receptacle and having inside it a spherical float 10 carrying an indicator bar 11 so that after the cover 3 of the container has been removed the float can be removed while the container is still in position in the receptacle. The position of the indicator bar 11 in the guide tube which extends upwardly from the cover 3 can be seen in the sight tube 15. A channel 5 is provided for pouring in nutrient solution.</p> |
