Heading B8D.` A cylindrical container has a body formed of a resinous material with upper and lower convex annular sections 30 32, and grooves 28, the upper section 30 being continuous with a concave section 24 lying. below the container rim to. which a lid 20. preferably of .metal, is secured.- The sections 30, 32 act. as bumpers. against similar adjacent containers, the upper section 30 co-operating with the concave section 24 to prevent the lid of an adjacent container from cutting the side wall if one of the containers becomes displaced, Fig. 6 (not shown). The body wall structure gives the container longitudinal resilience. The resin may be a polyolefin, e.g. high density polythene. |
