In order to improve output when dividing a cubed block of deep frozen food into portions, the invention provides that said block is subdivided into smaller identically shaped, specially cubed units, in a step by step process, wherein the smaller units contained in the penultimate division step are arranged in a continuous line, whereupon the smallest units are separated therefrom in the final division step and are subsequently press-formed. |
