PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the lens for an optical head, in which the assembling work of the optical lens into a holder and the time required to do the above are eliminated, and to reduce the number of parts and the cost by integrally molding the lens and the holder which holds the lens. SOLUTION: A lens 11 for an optical head has an optical lens section 12 and a holder section 13 and the sections 12 and 13 are integrally formed. The lens 11 is formed by an integrally molding technique using acrylic resin or olefin resin, for example. By employing the configuration above, the number of parts is reduced because the sections 12 and 13 are integrally formed, the work process to join the sections 12 and 13 together is eliminated and the cost is reduced. It is desirable that the lens 11 has plural lenses having different focal distances. |
