PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacture of a nonoriented silicon steel sheet having high magnetic flux density and low iron loss and used for iron core material for electrical equipment. SOLUTION: A slab, having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.1-3.5% Si, 0.5-2.5% Ni, 0.1-1.0% Mn, <=0.0050% C, <=0.0050% N, <=0.0050% S, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, is used. This slab is hot-rolled, and the resultant hot rolled plate is subjected to hot rolled plate annealing, to cold rolling once, and then to finish annealing. In this method of manufacturing a nonoriented silicon steel sheet, finish hot rolling finishing temp. is regulated to a temp. not lower than the Ar3 point and coiling is carried out at <=550 deg.C. |
