摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for welding titanium or a titanium alloy to a steel material which is small in restriction on application, superior in versatility, small in limitation of shapes, capable of continuos welding, hardly generating a brittle intermetallic compound and excellent in corrosion resistance of a weld zone. SOLUTION: Titanium or a titanium alloy is directly welded to a steel material by the MIG brazing method. The welding wire used in this MIG brazing is a copper alloy, to be concrete, an Si bronze based copper alloy containing 1-4% Si and 0.3-3% Mn. In addition, the diameter of the welding wire is 0.8-1.2 mm.
