Toy spinning top with a spindle drive has a transparent hood with a non-rotary carrier plate on the top axis, mounting movable accessories moved by drive gears engaging a toothed crown of a rotary disc, as in 1,728,035. At least another centrally revolving toothed disc is fitted, as a carrier plate for accessories, over the carrier plate and revolves about the top axis, and is driven via its outer toothing from a gearwheel on whose axis is fastened at the other end the drive gearwheel meshing with the toothed crown of the rotary disc. The three planes of motion are supplemented by a fourth, without great increase in complexity. |
