Fabric exhibits considerable homogeneity and isotropism while maintaining uniform thickness and is produced by delivering prepared chips or fibres onto a continuous conveyor belt in a loose, homogeneous fill, and continuously withdrawing the fabric from underneath. Feeding and withdrawal are performed such that the pile appears to be stationary. |
