PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cleanly and simply conduct the preparation and post-treatment of the collection of umbilical cord blood. SOLUTION: This placenta holder is provided with a foldable holder main body 10 formed with a waterproof outer sheet 11 on a water-absorbing inner sheet 12 absorbing the blood stuck to a placenta and formed into the shape deployed with a truncated conical cylinder on a flat plane, an adhesive tape 13 removably connecting both side sections into the assembled state as the cylinder after their overlapped degree is adjusted, and a suspender band 15 for suspending the holder main body 10 assembled into the cylinder. The upper edge and lower edge of the holder main body 10 are formed into nearly circular arc shapes respectively to form an opening section storing the placenta from above and an umbilical cord insertion hole inserted with an umbilical cord downward when the holder main body 10 is assembled into the cylinder. |
