<p>This has a driver axle, a double cone with a top angle of 140-170 degrees placed axially on this axle, a housing with falt upper and lower wall and a concave spherical upstanding wall, in which the double cone is mounted, each cone part contacting with a flat wall of the housing, and the peripheral line of the double cone contacting the spherical wall and a system of paddles conacting the walls of the housing. Sieves are placed in openings in the rotational direction of the cone before the contact line. It is used for dissolving and homogenising swellable materials, e.g. cellulose xanthate, and ethers starch derivs. glucose products, chocolate paste, emulsions of oils and fats and paints.</p> |
