Kiln building element - for trolley support structures

Building elements for the erection of suitable support structures for ceramic kiln charges on kiln trolley platforms consist of vertical pillars arranged in rows. - The pillars have grooved shaped cavities on the top for locating the horizontal double T profile beams placed across them. - The depth of the cavities is pref. not greater than thickness of the T flanges. - The reason for limiting the depth of the cavities is that the top of the T flanges are used for the support of cover plates which can be slid along the flanges and which are used for regulating the circulation of the kiln atmosphere over the charge being fired.
