Corrosion inhibitor system compr1ses at least one of:-(A) Na fluorophosphate and (B) water-soluble salt of a phosphonic acid deriv. of formula:- RnR'N(CH2PO3H2)2-n where R and R' = alkyl, aminoalkyl or hydroxyalkyl; and n = 0 or 1. Deicer compsn. comprising the above corrosion inhibiting system is also claimed.
